Christopher J. Olsen presents with a unique positive energy that often inspires the people that he works with. He recently retired from the Fire Department in Cotuit, Massachusetts, where he has instituted substantial changes to modernize and restructure the entire department including equipment, facilities, personnel, and training. In conjunction with his staff, Christopher has assisted in achieving a regional Public Safety Dive Team that currently serves fifteen communities within the Cape Cod area. He formerly commanded the Cotuit, Massachusetts Fire Department, and has significant experience with the Cape and Islands Emergency Medical Services where he held a key position as president of the executive board. Mr. Olsen was instrumental and committed to the involvement of the critical incident debriefing team on Cape Cod as well as the incident management team comprised of chief officers. 

Chief Olsen was elected as the president of his class at the Donahue Institute for the certified officer's program encompassing Captains, Deputy Fire Chiefs, and Fire Chiefs. Chief Olsen has a Psychology Degree from Springfield College and is currently working on his Master’s in Leadership from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Chief Olsen is interested in supporting fire departments as a consultant, to help fulfill a variety of departmental needs. Chief Olsen retains a current certification as a Nationally certified paramedic. He recently served as an Interim Chief in Bradford, New Hampshire East Greenwich, Rhode Island, and as a mentor in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Fremont, and Enfield, New Hampshire as well as in Gray, Maine.
